Copyright and Licensing

The Journal of Salutogenic Architecture is an open access journal. All content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author(s).

Licensing

All articles published in the Journal of Salutogenic Architecture are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

This licence permits:

  • Sharing – Copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format.

  • Adapting – Remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

Conditions of Use:

  • Attribution – Users must give appropriate credit to the original author(s), include the article title, journal name, and provide a link to the published work and its DOI.

  • No additional restrictions – No legal or technological measures may be applied that restrict others from using the content as permitted by the licence.

Author Rights

  • Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights to their work in all formats (PDF, HTML, XML, etc.).

  • By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide licence to publish, distribute, and be cited as the original source.

  • The journal retains the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

  • Authors may share, adapt, and reuse their work at any time without seeking permission from the publisher, provided attribution requirements are met.

Licence Visibility

The CC BY 4.0 licence is clearly displayed on each published article and embedded in the article metadata to ensure machine-readability and compliance with international open access standards.
